Pillar Church exists to Know Jesus and Make Him Known.  We are a church that plants churches in an effort to spread the Gospel and Make Jesus Known. As we pray through this effort, we also teach and train up those who will lead these new works.  We are the sending church for some churches and the supporting church for others.  Our goal is to have an Acts 1:8 model of church planting/missions.

“…you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”  (Acts 1:8 ESV)

Pillar Church Kaneohe (Hawaii)- 2015

Johnny and Robbin Griffith

In July of 2015, Pillar Jax sent out Johnny Griffith with his family to Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii to reach the military families and locals on the island of Oahu.  Johnny completed his year of apprenticeship with Pillar Jax, prepared for his future plant, and is praying for a planting partner.  Join us in praying for this new church plant!

Pillar Church of Oceanside (California)- 2014

Jon and Linnea Ransom

In February of 2014, Pillar Jax sent out our first church planter,  Jon Ransom, with his wife Linnea and daughter to California to plant Pillar Church Oceanside near Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.  Jon’s planting partner, Trace Martinez, was already at work when he arrived in Oceanside.  Pillar Oceanside is doing well in their first year gathering as a church, and the Ransoms have recently welcomed their baby boy into their family!

Loftsofan (Reykjavik, Iceland)

Podcastart

Pillar Churches and their sister churches have been praying for and working in Iceland for nearly a decade.  We are excited to have a native church planter in the area.  Gunnar Gunnarson and his family are working to plant a church, begin a theological school, and work through the arts to reach their nation with the Gospel.
