Jonathan Davis

Jonathan (JD) lives in Jacksonville, NC with his wife, Jennifer, and five kids Cody, Keegan, Kale, Chloe, and Kinsley. JD has been serving in the Pillar network since it began in 2005.

The Davis family has had the privilege of being a part of five church plants since that time, three of them from their inception. They have a desire and passion to see the gospel spread through church planting efforts all over the world.  In May of 2019, JD began the transition from full-time vocational work to full-time pastor of Pillar Church Jacksonville.  JD has a passion for pastoral ministry, leadership development, and various discipleship ministries.

Brian O’Day

Brian lives in Jacksonville with his wife, Kelli, and five children: Dani, Kristlyn, Trey, Nate, and Ameena. Brian served for nearly 10 years as an active duty Marine that included deployments to fifteen countries including Iraq and Afghanistan. While stationed in Quantico, VA in 2010 and attending Pillar Church in Dumfries, Brian was called to plant Pillar Church Jacksonville. Pillar Jax began in Brian and Kelli’s home on January 6, 2013. In May of 2019, Brian began a transition from full-time pastoring with Pillar Jax to the role of Executive Director of The Praetorian Project. Brian is currently completing a Masters of Divinity in Biblical Counseling at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has a passion for preaching God’s Word, discipling men, and counseling marriages.

Joshua Brown

Joshua lives in Richlands, NC with his wife, Brittany, and their three children, Tatum, Elyssa, and Titus. He is currently serving as an active duty Marine on Camp Lejeune. While stationed in California in 2004, Joshua was saved and his Christian journey began. He has been stationed in many locations, always plugging in and leading small groups, serving as a layman, and at times, as a deacon. Pillar Church became his church home in July of 2017, where he felt the Lord calling him to step into a new church leadership role. Joshua has a passion for Bible history, community, and hospitality. He desires to serve Christ and the Church well by teaching and sharing the good news of Christ wherever God plants him.

Stefan & Tori Lichtfuss

Stefan and Tori Lichtfuss live in Jacksonville with their two children, Declan and Rowan. Both grew up in Colorado and later went to school in the great state of Wyoming, where they met and started dating. Stefan serves as an active duty Marine, while Tori is a full-time stay-at-home-mom. Both grew up in families who faithfully loved the Lord and served their local church body. Stefan and Tori have been encouraged by and felt the importance of being involved in the local church and are thankful for the opportunity to serve the body of Pillar in any capacity.

Clayton & Corrie Scott

Clayton and Corrie live in Jacksonville with their three children, Eli, Thea, and Calvin. Clayton is an active duty Marine, and Corrie is a full time homemaker. Clayton grew up in several states on the east coast, while Corrie was an Army brat and moved 13 times before high school. God brought them together in Maryland during high school and they got married after college. Both of them grew up in the church and have continued their walk in faith and growth through marriage, kids, and work. They are grateful for the opportunity to love and serve this church family.

Chris & Elyse Miller

Chris and Elyse Miller currently live in Richlands, NC with their two children, Henry and Ayla. Chris is from Harrisonburg, Virginia, and Elyse is a Navy brat, but claims Virginia as home. They met on a backpacking trip in the Appalachian mountains in 2015 and married a year later. Chris is currently serving as an active duty Marine, and Elyse is a full-time stay-at-home mom. Chris and Elyse both grew up in the church and have a heart to serve the church body in whatever capacity. Having children of their own has given them a heart for loving on children and sharing with them the truth of the Gospel. They are excited to be able to serve the church body at Pillar through the childcare ministry.

Jason & Chloe Reep

Jason & Chloe Reep live in Sneads Ferry where they pray to soon welcome home their baby boy, Ezra. Jason is an active duty marine and Chloe is a full-time homemaker. Both hail from Ohio, and it was there that they met in high school, started dating in college, and got married shortly after graduation. They both come from families who were faithfully involved in their respective church bodies and are so thankful for this opportunity to do so themselves. Getting to specifically work and serve in Childcare Ministry has been an extra special way to exercise their love of children and the nurturing of young hearts.

Women's Ministry Leader

Brittany Brown

Brittany is the wife of Joshua Brown, her high-school sweetheart.  She is a homeschool mom of 3 stellar kids, Tatum, Elyssa and Titus.  She is also a sister, daughter and friend.  Brittany spends her days teaching her children, opening her home, helping her husband, and ministering to the women of Pillar Jax and the Jacksonville community through discipleship, counseling and other various ministries.  And- just for fun, she is a Public Forum Debate coach for her kids local speech and debate club.  More than anything, Brittany has a deep passion to see women walk in the fullness of Christ! To love the Lord their God with all their heart, soul and mind.  To embrace Titus 2:3-5 and love being a woman!  She believes in  living a life rooted firmly in the Word of God, and desires to see women in the Word everyday. Brittany loves to read, write, teach, organize, decorate, dance, laugh, grab coffee with girlfriends, go on dates with her hubby and take mini vacations with her family.  She is also a Theology nerd through and through and loves all things traditional and liturgical living.
